Trailwork on the Backbone Trail between Latigo Cyn Rd and Newton Mtwy on November 9, 2013

CORBA and the SMMTC join forces to fix the drainages so the trail doesn't further erode.

Repairing an armoring wall that keeps water that runs off the trail from rutting the hillside and undermining the trail.

Cleaning out a drainage that had filled with silt. It's been several years since this trail has seen any repair work.

Here you get a good view of the rut that forms when rainwater runs down the trail. People avoid the rut, which makes the trail wider.

There was quite a bit of brush to remove here so that we could clear the drainage of silt
